TCE had a great first day of school!
TCE Parents:
Monday is our first day of school! Reminder, parents are not allowed in the building for AM/PM drop off and pick up. We encourage all students to ride the bus tomorrow if they will be using school transportation. Parents should use drive 4 for AM/PM drop off and pick up. Parents will enter the foyer area at door 17 for pick up. If you have not completed registration, please do so today. We are excited for another school year and we hope your student (s) are ready for a great year!

School begins on August 5th. Please be patient and observant for school buses!
T.C. offers a student pick-up and drop-off for students who do not reside in our school district. We send a bus to the Boys & Girls Club in Tipton to pick up and drop off our TC Students. In Howard County we have 2 locations. We pick-up and drop-off at Crossroads Church and the Kokomo South Branch Library. There are forms that must be completed for your child to ride these routes. To take care of getting this paperwork completed, we will be having a meeting in the HS Cafeteria for all parents. The meeting will be after our "Open House" on Friday, August 2nd. The Open House is from 4:00 to 6:00. The Bus Meeting will be right after this at 6:00
Tri-Central Elementary is currently looking for a kindergarten para professional to begin the 2024-2025 school year. Interested applicants should send a résumé to the attention of Matthew Miller at mmiller@TCCS.K12.IN.US
A completed background check is required for employment.
TCCS Parents:
Please make sure you have registered your student (s) for the upcoming school year. This needs to be completed by Tuesday, July 30. Registration can affect bus routes, class assignments, etc. If you need assistance, please contact the school. Our Meet the Teacher Night is scheduled for Friday, August 2 from 4-6:00 PM. Our first day of school is August 5.

Thursday night is the Tipton County back to school event. This is free for all Tipton County students.
Congratulations to Mrs. Hogwood and Mrs. Jackson for being hired as new elementary teachers at tonight's board meeting. Welcome to the TCE family!
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year opens at 10am July 22nd and 23rd. Cafeteria staff will be available by phone at 765-963-2560 ext. 1172 to answer questions about all things school meal related or take payments for meal accounts by debit or credit card.
If you received a notification of direct certification by email or through the regular mail last week, please do not fill out a meal application during registration.
If you did not receive a a notification of direct certification, please consider completing the application for free or reduced-price meals.
A new application must be completed every school year (unless directly certified through the State). So even if your students were approved for free or reduced meals last year, you must complete a new application this school year.
Applicants will be informed via email of approval or denial of free or reduced benefits. So please make sure your email address is up to date.
Also, SUN BUCKS for next summer will be mailed in June of 2025 to the primary address listed on Skyward for eligible students. So please keep your address information current as well.
